Insurance Verification & Surgery Coordinator Float

Minimum of 1 year of surgery coordinating experience
Surgery scheduling for up to 5 providers
Coordinating with physician's clinical schedule, surgery schedule, call schedule, facility schedule, and patient schedule to schedule outpatient or inpatient surgeries
Schedule inductions and c-sections with the hospital and coordinate information with patient and provider schedule
Insurance verification for clinical and surgical benefits and maternity
Verifying up to 50 patients day
Obtaining Authorizations for procedures
Verification of Maternity Benefits
Financial Counseling for Obstetric Plans
The float will be responsible for helping these specified departments when needed and to be in constant communication on needs within the departments
Multitasking is a requirement
